Do I need to book a pitch in advance?

We strongly recommend booking in advance. During the summer months and on bank holidays we are fully booked long in advance. However, it is always worth checking with us on the day in case there has been a cancellation. Outside of school holidays, pitches are usually available at short notice.

When is the park open?

The park is open from 1st March to 31st October each year.

What types of pitch do you have?

We have pitches to suit everyone, from motor homes to the smallest tent. Some pitches on the touring site are available with electric hook-up point with waste disposal and water facilities close-by. The touring field has numerous water taps and guests are welcome to use the shower and toilet facilities included in the fees.

What is the maximum size tent that you allow?

We can accomodate tents up to a maximum of 7 metres.

What am I allowed on my pitch?

A pitch includes your caravan, motor home or tent, an awning, a car and up to 2 adults. Should you wish to include anything else on your pitch, such as an extra car or adult. Please ask at reception and we will do our best to accommodate you, although a small charge will be made.

Are there shower and toilet facilities?

We have a toilet and shower block located close to Reception and toilets near the touring field. We take great pride in ensuring these are clean and well maintained. In the shower block, there are shaving points in the gents and hair dryers in the ladies. The blocks are heated in winter. We also have a disabled toilet and shower facilities and there is no extra charge to use these. There are also undercover dish washing areas and a laundry room. Additional toilets and washing up facilities are located near the childrens playground.

Do you allow group bookings?

We do not allow single sex or party group bookings. If you are a family or group of friends with children wishing to holiday together, then you will be permitted, subject to availability and your agreement to abide by the site rules. This is to protect the peace and enjoyment of other campers. Any group causing a disturbance will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.

Arrivals are welcome from 12 noon. Late arrivals should refer to a site map on our reception door (see our interactive map).

Please vacate your pitch by 11am. If you wish to stay later please book a late departure. All Sunday departures are by 7pm allowing you to enjoy the whole weekend.

What facilities are there for children?

We have a play park near our touring field and many of our younger visitors enjoy riding bikes around the safety of our park (a vehicle speed limit of 5mph is strictly enforced) or fishing in our river.
